Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations to determine the needs and challenges faced by patients, employing evidence-based assessment tools.
• Develop tailored, solution-focused treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they align with best practices in mental health care.
• Work closely with a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and counselors, to deliver integrated care that addresses both mental health and substance use issues.
• Engage in peer review sessions, case consultations, and team meetings aimed at improving treatment efficacy and fostering a culture of professional development.
• Provide support, education, and resources to patients and their families, empowering them with strategies to navigate their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing substance use and mental health challenges, facilitating their recovery within a detox setting. Your expertise will play a critical role in fostering resilience and developing coping strategies, enabling clients to reintegrate into society successfully. You will also be integral in supporting families, assisting them in understanding the complexities of addiction and mental health interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required, along with an active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington state.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in psychotherapy settings that focus on mental health and substance use recovery.
• Proficiency in evidence-based, solution-oriented therapeutic techniques and interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work within a detox or addiction recovery center is highly desirable.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques in high-stress environments.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
