Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to clients dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD both through individual and group therapy sessions.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, which will include evaluations of their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and cultural competence, ensuring that each patient’s unique circumstances and needs are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and other necessary health records using electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate coordinated care.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest research and therapy techniques applicable to mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals in a detox setting, which often includes patients with co-occurring disorders. This population may face a myriad of challenges, and you will play an instrumental role in guiding them through their recovery journeys. The center’s approach emphasizes fostering trust and creating safe spaces for patients to explore their thoughts and feelings, which is crucial for building rapport and instigating healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong clinical skills, including an ability to assess mental health disorders and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable the building of relationships with clients and collaboration with diverse healthcare professionals.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software for effective management of patient information.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with detox patients or in addiction recovery settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices will further enhance your ability to connect with patients and facilitate their healing processes. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote care methodologies will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
