Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions through secure telehealth platforms, adapting your approach to suit the unique needs of each client.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that account for the clients’ individual goals, histories, and mental health concerns, ensuring measurable progress is tracked throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Provide empathetic support and encouragement to clients, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges with evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to cultivate an integrated approach to a client’s care, participating in multidisciplinary meetings when necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate clinical documentation to adhere to regulatory standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying up-to-date on the latest research, methodologies, and trends in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will encompass a wide range of demographics including individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with varied issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, requiring a culturally sensitive approach to therapy and an understanding of how different life experiences shape mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.
• Experience in providing therapy through digital platforms with an understanding of telehealth best practices.
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a team-oriented environment, providing holistic care to clients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience counseling individuals and families in a telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and an understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
