Work Environment

As part of our telehealth facility, you’ll utilize cutting-edge tools to conduct assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic sessions, ensuring high-quality care delivery while adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments of patients’ needs, utilizing structured interviews and validated assessment tools to tailor treatment plans effectively.
• Maintain open and effective communication with supervisors, direct care staff members, and clients’ families regarding the progress and ongoing needs of individual clients.
• Create and deliver an organized schedule for appointments and follow-up sessions, ensuring all necessary home visits and observations are systematically coordinated.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings (ITMs) to collaboratively discuss and develop strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document and complete comprehensive monthly and quarterly progress notes to reflect therapeutic advancements and areas needing further attention.
• Train and certify staff in implementing program plans and maintaining accurate documentation practices.
• Actively engage in outreach and liaison efforts within the mental health community to support development goals and best practices.
• Ensure that program implementation adheres to established therapeutic protocols and clinical best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors provide essential mental health services to a diverse patient population that includes both youth and adults. You will work with clients facing various challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relational conflicts. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted professional licensure to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.
• A strong grounding in legal and ethical standards related to counseling practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with a wide range of clients.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and remote counseling tools.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000, based on experience and caseload capacity.
