Work Environment

This position will be entirely remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to reach clients across Woodbridge and throughout New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ mental health issues, employing standardized diagnostic tools and clinical judgment to create individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling sessions using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Provide acute crisis intervention support to clients experiencing significant distress, utilizing crisis de-escalation techniques and safety planning as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards, and documentation practices.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—to ensure integrated care and effective client support.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources, advocating for their needs and promoting informed choices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and supervision to stay abreast of best practices and innovative treatment methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your work will help clients build coping strategies and resilience, fostering overall emotional well-being and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field required; Master’s or Doctoral degree in a clinical discipline preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment skills and experience in formulating effective treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, providing direct therapeutic services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and engage in collaborative care.
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a cohesive team of healthcare professionals.
• A robust commitment to ethical practice and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a clinical setting, particularly in a remote or telehealth environment.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools to enhance client interactions and service delivery.
• Experience with a diverse client population and understanding of culturally sensitive practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and includes a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
