Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Telehealth & In-Person Services)

We are seeking Licensed Mental Health Counselors—either Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)—to engage in a rewarding and impactful career supporting individuals aged 18 and older. Work Environment

This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide essential services from the comfort of your home, while also having the option to meet clients in an outpatient office setting as required. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your duties will include:

• Formulating and executing individualized treatment plans that emphasize a client-centered approach while adhering to recovery principles.
• Conducting ongoing assessments to identify clients' evolving treatment needs and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Facilitating the creation and implementation of personalized service plans, collaborating closely with clients to ensure their voices and preferences are prioritized.
• Empowering clients through the development of coping strategies, enhancing their problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Educating clients about available community resources and advocating on their behalf to foster connections that support their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adults aged 18 and older who experience mental health challenges affecting their daily lives and community integration. Many of our clients face issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Through your expertise, you will help clients develop skills for managing these conditions, ultimately guiding them toward a fulfilling and independent life.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Illinois as an LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Capability to work independently without supervision, showcasing strong clinical judgment.
• Impeccable integrity with no disciplinary actions on your licensed record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients empathetically and supportively.
• Comfort with technology and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will also have:

• A track record of providing direct clinical services and developing effective therapeutic relationships with a diverse client base.
• Familiarity with symptom monitoring, behavior management, and aftercare planning.
• Improvement-focused experience aiding clients in enhancing daily living and community engagement skills.
• Knowledge of family development issues as they relate to mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

Stride Health Care Inc. is proud to offer competitive compensation with a salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
