Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain an in-depth understanding of clients' mental health issues, utilizing structured interviews and standardized tools.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs, employing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms, adjusting therapeutic techniques based on real-time feedback and client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at A Good Place Therapy & Consulting, you will work with a diverse client base, including adolescents and adults dealing with issues such as trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• Possession of a current and valid license in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .
• A successful candidate must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for building therapeutic relationships and documenting client progress accurately.
