Work Environment

This role is fully remote, utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth technology to connect with clients across various demographics. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of clients through virtual consultations, documenting comprehensive case histories from the first visit to the conclusion of treatment.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that outline intervention strategies tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups based on thorough assessment findings.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to promote engagement and active participation.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, coordinating efforts to enhance client care through shared insights and effective referral management.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to clients’ family members and caregivers to help them navigate mental health challenges.
• Maintain proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates for all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse clientele that includes individuals facing mental health challenges, emotional disturbances, and behavioral issues. Our clients may present with varying degrees of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex cases involving trauma and addiction. You will work within a flexible framework that empowers clients to actively participate in their healing process.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois.
• Successful completion and passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong foundation in mental health counseling principles with a history of providing effective therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a telehealth environment, demonstrating comfort with virtual communication tools and techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of addiction disorders and associated physical and emotional health issues.
• Familiarity with best practices established by leading mental health organizations, such as the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and build rapport easily.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
