Key Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions that focus on predetermined goals, adapting methods and interventions to suit the unique circumstances of each client.
• Timely completion of billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in line with clinic policies and state regulations.
• Develop crisis intervention strategies, safety plans, and relapse prevention measures to ensure ongoing client stability and a supportive environment.
• Create thoughtful discharge plans that guide patients towards effective post-treatment pathways, fostering community integration and continued support.
• Adhere strictly to all applicable federal and state laws, professional regulations, and organizational policies to maintain compliance and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and literature in the mental health field to remain updated with best practices and enhance therapeutic skills.
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing your insights and learning from peers to improve client outcomes.
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training as required to maintain your professional standing within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds and with different mental health challenges. Your focus will be on developing compassionate, individualized care plans that address their emotional, psychological, and social needs. This role is crucial in fostering long-term recovery and stability for your patients, empowering them to live healthier, fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related degree that meets the requirements for licensure.
• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of Illinois (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW).

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in providing person-centered care with evidence of successful treatment outcomes.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress and ensure accurate billing practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and licensure. In addition to a rewarding salary, our benefits package includes:
