Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to create tailored treatment plans. For example, you might administer standardized evaluation tools during initial assessments to pinpoint specific psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies designed to address clients' specific challenges and goals, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused brief therapy.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, actively creating a supportive atmosphere where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals on the treatment team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. This may involve participating in case reviews or treatment planning meetings.
• Educate and engage clients’ families, facilitating their understanding of the mental health recovery process, which can be instrumental in fostering a supportive home environment.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of each client's journey in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and data security at all times.
