Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using telehealth platforms, utilizing your expertise to assess and address the unique needs of each patient.
• Document client interactions meticulously, ensuring accurate records of sessions and treatment plans that adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Apply evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to deliver tailored interventions that promote healing and growth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Manage your appointment schedule effectively, including follow-ups and assessments, to maintain a steady workflow and high-quality patient engagement.
• Participate in regular team meetings for case consultation, sharing insights on best practices, attending workshops, and continuing education events to hone your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Health Hour Counseling Services, you will primarily work with a diverse adult population, comprised of individuals facing various emotional and mental health challenges. Your caseload may include patients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and other significant life stressors. You will be equipped to offer compassionate care to clients navigating complex emotional landscapes, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and treatment tailored to their specific circumstances.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in a relevant mental health discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least two years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to adults, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic techniques.
• Proficient in documentation practices, showcasing exceptional writing skills for session notes and treatment summaries.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions by licensing boards in any jurisdiction.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments, with a focus on contemporary methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology, understanding the nuances of virtual client engagement.
• Background in working with a diverse client demographic, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.

Compensation and Benefits
