Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (Outpatient - Remote)

Position Overview

Westside Psychotherapy Services is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to become a vital part of our outpatient team. This remote position will enable you to provide effective mental health counseling to a diverse range of clients, offering you the flexibility to create impactful therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space. As an LPC, you will assess clients' mental health needs, develop personalized therapeutic strategies, and facilitate supportive therapy sessions aiming to promote mental well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to establish their mental health status and therapeutic goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Provide therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Monitor and document clients’ progress through accurate and timely record-keeping, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care strategies and collaborate with other professionals to enhance treatment plans.

At Westside Psychotherapy Services, our client population encompasses a wide range of psychological issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, and trauma. You will work with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, striving to foster a safe and supportive environment for open communication and healing. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in counseling, encompassing a variety of patient populations and mental health challenges.
• Strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality while delivering mental health services.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome all qualified candidates, preference will be given to applicants with specialization or relevant experience in family therapy, couples counseling, substance misuse recovery, or trauma-focused therapy. Experience with telehealth and remote service delivery is also advantageous, given the nature of this position.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise. Additionally, our organization provides:
