Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify emotional and behavioral disorders, making accurate diagnoses based on recognized criteria.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, incorporating evidence-based strategies to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Facilitate engaging individual, couple, and group counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Teach clients practical coping mechanisms and self-care strategies, enabling them to effectively handle challenges and improve their mental health.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans and techniques as necessary to ensure sustained improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• Current state licensure as a licensed professional counselor is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual, couples, and group therapy is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Must possess an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to counseling, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients.

• Flexible schedule to accommodate clients, including evening and weekend sessions when necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Specializations in areas such as trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or couples counseling will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in client referral processes and collaborating with community resources to enhance treatment outcomes is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, contingent upon your experience and caseload availability. You will receive assistance with billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care rather than administrative tasks.
