Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of clients, ensuring accurate and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, leveraging diverse methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address various mental health disorders.
• Work collaboratively with case managers and psychiatrists to facilitate holistic care plans that consider medical, psychological, and social aspects of a client's well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention support with professionalism and empathy, utilizing de-escalation techniques and creating safety plans for clients in acute distress.
• Participate in community outreach programs, promoting mental health awareness through workshops and educational seminars to diminish stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who come from different cultural, economic, and professional backgrounds. Qualifications

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and establish trust with clients from various backgrounds.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and a deep understanding of the social determinants of health that influence mental wellness.
• Proven organizational skills, with the ability to manage case documentation and notes efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling or therapy.
• Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth technology.
• Participation in community mental health initiatives or public health campaigns.
