Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Performing initial assessments to determine client needs and mental health concerns.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and approaches.
• Delivering psychotherapy sessions through video conferencing in an empathetic and supportive manner.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss client progress and professional development.
• Providing crisis intervention as needed and ensuring clients have access to emergency resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse population, including teenagers, adults, and couples facing various mental health challenges. By employing evidence-based practices, you will help clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or psychotherapy.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with clients in a virtual setting.
• A strong ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Proficiency with telehealth technologies and an openness to integrate new methodologies into practice.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in teletherapy or remote mental health services.
• A background in working with various demographic groups, including marginalized or underserved populations.
• Training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Further benefits include:
