Position Overview

SharpLane Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our vibrant team. This full-time remote position allows you the flexibility to provide essential mental health support while working from home. In this role, you will meet with clients, assess their mental health statuses, and design personalized therapeutic plans tailored to address their individual challenges. You will engage with a diverse range of patients dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance use disorders.

As a remote team member, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals using telecommunication tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients’ mental health to inform treatment planning.
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of mental health conditions.
• Regularly follow up with patients to monitor their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Offer resources and referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, for comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans within the EHR system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on individuals seeking mental health support, including adolescents, adults, and possibly families. Clients may present issues such as severe anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, or addiction challenges. Your expertise in working with a variety of conditions will be crucial in helping patients navigate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• At least two years of clinical experience working with diverse patient populations and mental health conditions.
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Solid background in providing both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methods.
• Adequate knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and their application in therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
