Work Environment

This position is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility in scheduling while still providing proactive support to our clients. Our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, ensuring that we can meet the varying needs of our clientele. We prioritize a work-life balance for our team members while maintaining a high level of professional engagement through regular consultations and team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies that align with each client’s needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, couples, and families, ensuring the application of best practices from modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
• Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive client care plans that holistically address mental health challenges.
• Participate in continuous professional development workshops and training to stay informed about the latest mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients, including those facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. We emphasize tailored interventions that respect the uniqueness of each individual's experience and support them in overcoming obstacles to achieve improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• At least two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical context, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive client care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and relevant technological tools for efficient client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working in a community health setting, with skills in providing accessible care to a wide demographic.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities based on performance. We provide:
