Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough initial assessments, ensuring tailored interventions that reflect the unique needs of each client.
• Provide therapeutic support through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy to address mental health challenges.
• Conduct assessments that inform the counseling process and guide evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Engage in collaborative care by partnering with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with federal and state regulations, allowing effective tracking of progress and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance abuse. Counseling services are offered to individuals, couples, families, and groups, emphasizing a client-centered approach that respects the unique cultural and social backgrounds of each participant.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
