Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still contributing to a collaborative and supportive team dynamic. Our team operates with a multidisciplinary approach, engaging in regular virtual meetings to discuss client progress and interventions. The outpatient setting ensures a diverse caseload, ranging from individuals seeking help for anxiety and depression to those coping with trauma and relationship difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to the specific challenges faced by each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, for individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health treatment.
• Actively participate in continued professional development opportunities, such as workshops and seminars, to stay abreast of the latest mental health practices and research.
• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals to ensure unified and holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, including clients from various backgrounds and with a range of presenting issues. The practice includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance misuse, relationship challenges, and trauma. Understanding the societal and environmental factors influencing clients' mental health is essential for providing effective treatment.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies to manage patient information efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and an openness to integrating new techniques into practice.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
