Key Responsibilities

As an LPC at Holicare, you will be expected to:

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, nurturing professional relationships built on trust and ethical boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, stability, and readiness for discharge as necessary.
• Design, implement, and consistently review person-centered treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain meticulous records, including detailed progress notes and documentation for each client interaction.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to effectively gauge client needs and establish appropriate treatment pathways.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions weekly to ensure sustained engagement and support.
• Participate in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and promote professional growth.
• Engage in collaboration with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to optimize client care plans.
• Exhibit a growth mindset, actively seeking feedback and opportunities for continued education and skill enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on youth clients, which requires a strong understanding of developmental psychology and the unique challenges faced by young individuals today. Our counselors provide mental health support for various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Qualifications

To be considered for the LPC position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in mental health or a related field.
• A current License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A proven ability to meet internal credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings.
• A minimum of one year’s experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance abuse issues.
• Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and providing individual and group therapy.
• Basic keyboarding skills and demonstrated experience with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

We highly value candidates who also have experience working with youth populations, either in a clinical or educational setting. Familiarity with telehealth modalities and previous commitments to ongoing professional development will set you apart in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
