Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your schedule while working effectively from home. Our outpatient office serves as a satellite location for in-person appointments when necessary, ensuring convenient access to therapeutic services for both clients and counselors. You will have access to advanced telehealth platforms and tools that enable seamless client interactions, recordkeeping, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, identify key issues, and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices and evidence-based approaches, tailored to address the specific needs of clients.
• Facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions, providing therapeutic support while encouraging open dialogue and self-expression.
• Implement therapeutic activities that foster personal growth and resilience, adapting techniques based on client feedback and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of client intake, progress, and treatment outcomes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Oversee and document therapeutic activities, ensuring clients benefit from structured supervision and engaged support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to enhance service delivery, sharing insights and recommendations for improving client outcomes.
• Support community initiatives by participating in outreach programs that promote mental health awareness and access to services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily consist of youth and adults dealing with diverse mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. You will play a vital role in helping clients develop coping strategies, achieve personal goals, and enhance their overall quality of life through a structured therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a counseling role, with demonstrated competence in providing mental health services.
• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, along with any specific certifications relevant to clinical focus.
• Proven ability to conceptualize and implement treatment plans that address a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with clients, families, and other mental health professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents is a plus.
• Familiarity with teletherapy best practices and related technology.
• Demonstrated understanding of community resources available to enhance client care.
