Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary interviews with new clients to gather detailed histories and develop comprehensive case documentation, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded from initial consultations through to treatment completion.

• Assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being through structured evaluations, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your findings.

• Create and implement individualized intervention and recovery plans that cater to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, aligning strategies with best practices in mental health care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various challenges faced by clients, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for open dialogue.

• Monitor client progress through consistent follow-up and adjust treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery and support.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including other mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers, to create cohesive intervention strategies that prioritize client well-being.

• Provide follow-up support and coordination with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization or specialized care.

• Identify and mitigate barriers to client recovery, including disrupting harmful behaviors or emotional challenges.

• Support family members and caregivers in managing mental and behavioral health challenges encountered by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse population, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Proof of current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor or therapist is preferred, showcasing your understanding of various therapeutic techniques and client management approaches.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to facilitate efficient documentation and client management.

• An understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices, alongside in-depth knowledge of pharmacological interventions prescribed by medical professionals.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, combined with a genuine empathic nature, to build rapport and trust with clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
