Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations and ongoing assessments to determine clients' needs.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment and recovery plans for diverse client demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and group therapies.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to meet clients' specific needs.

• Monitor client progress against established treatment goals, making necessary adjustments and documenting all case notes accurately.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and manage referrals as needed, ensuring continuity of care for clients transitioning between services.

As a remote mental health counselor at West Hills, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate documentation and client information.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering effective interactions with clients and other healthcare professionals.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
