Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create personalized therapeutic strategies tailored to client needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, couples, and family counseling.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) among others.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and ongoing client care and support.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to ethical standards as well as relevant laws.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and staying updated on the latest mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work predominantly with adults and adolescents who present with a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds and may face barriers to receiving adequate mental health care. Your expertise will be critical in providing them with the support and guidance they need for their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years’ counseling experience, preferably in a mental health clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards concerning client confidentiality and care.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for rapport-building with a diverse client base.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, demonstrating a commitment to holistic care.
