Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough ongoing assessments to ascertain the specific mental health needs of each client, ensuring tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Effectively communicate with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other professionals involved in a client's care to monitor and support their progress.
\n
• Develop and provide a tentative schedule of appointments and home visits, which includes assessments, observations, and follow-ups.
\n
• Coordinate in-home visits and assessments to align with organizational requirements for data analysis and treatment evaluation.
\n
• Ensure that all therapeutic interventions adhere to the prescribed program plan, making adjustments as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on treatment approaches and professional development opportunities.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect client progress, challenges, and adjustments to care plans.
\n
• Organize and conduct staff training sessions focused on fostering proficiency in implementing program plans and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
\n
• Provide continued support through follow-up interviews and home visits, ensuring clients' ongoing needs are met and addressed.
\n
• Act as a liaison between clients, the public, and the mental health community to facilitate support structures and development goals.

• Contribute to the development of training materials aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of behavioral health programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCPC will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth. Our patients come from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges related to mental health. This role encompasses a collaborative approach to provide therapeutic interventions across a range of issues, including family dynamics, substance misuse, trauma recovery, and emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience is essential, preferably in a clinical environment.

• Demonstrable expertise in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly advantageous.

• A sound understanding of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice is required.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a wide range of clients and professionals.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team-oriented environment.

• Proficiency in EMR software and other relevant technologies is a must.
