Work Environment

This physical therapy position is located onsite at our rehabilitation center in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations for each patient, assessing individual needs and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges.
• Administer effective therapies that promote recovery, encompassing manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and strength.
• Inform and educate patients and their families about strategies to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries, fostering an environment of trust and teamwork.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment interventions through our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the facility, participating in interdisciplinary meetings to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest industry advancements and integrating evidence-based practices into your sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Breathe in Motion, our patient population spans a diverse group of individuals, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with elderly residents at our adjacent Assisted Living Facility, ensuring personalized care that addresses their unique challenges, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, although new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to a patient-centered approach.
• Experience with EMR software (e.g., WebPT) is an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation center or similar healthcare setting.
