Work Environment

The work setting for this role is an onsite rehabilitation center in Matawan, NJ, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, interacting closely with a collaborative team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our focus on state-of-the-art practices and methodologies ensures that our staff members have access to the best tools to support patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, recognizing their individual objectives and needs.
• Manage a patient load of one client per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care tailored to each individual.
• Utilize your expertise to administer cost-effective therapy interventions that enhance clients' range of motion and mobility, aiming to minimize dependence on medication.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Monitor and document progress systematically, ensuring accurate records of services provided to patients.
• Provide encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their treatment processes, emphasizing the importance of their active participation in their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, making referrals as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes post-treatment, assessing the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on patients facing orthopedic challenges, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will engage with a diverse clientele, all seeking to improve their physical abilities, mobility, and overall quality of life through structured rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey without any disciplinary actions or board complaints.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs to enhance patient recovery.
• Experience with EMR Software, preferably WebPT, to maintain accurate and timely patient records.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A background in utilizing innovative therapy technologies, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 130,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
