Work Environment

This position operates within our onsite Rehabilitation Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and treatment areas designed to facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions. As an integral part of our team, you will work collaboratively alongside skilled physical therapy assistants and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical condition, mobility, and functional capabilities, employing diagnostic and prognostic tests tailored for orthopedic cases.
• Develop and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans in alignment with physicians' protocols, aimed at relieving pain, increasing mobility, and restoring function.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and the application of physical agents such as heat and cold treatments.
• Guide and supervise physical therapy assistants in executing treatment plans and provide them with clinical mentorship to enhance patient outcomes.
• Continuously monitor patients’ progress and adjust therapy plans as needed based on evidence of improvement or new challenges.
• Engage in collaborative discussions during interdisciplinary team meetings to refine patient care strategies and integrate feedback from various healthcare professionals.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring all records meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, training them in the use of mobility aids and techniques to promote independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed physical therapist, preferably in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
• Current PT licensure in good standing in New Jersey, coupled with a valid CPR certification.
• Proficient in evaluating and documenting physical therapy services in accordance with established standards and regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting the importance of the role and the experience of the candidate.
