Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist at Wellness Works, you will:

• Develop and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs while ensuring the prevention of disability and the minimization of pain.
• Assess patient function through thorough diagnostic tests for muscle, nerve, and joint capabilities, making informed recommendations based on individual assessments.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility strategies, and the proper use of assistive devices, ensuring they are actively involved in their rehabilitation journey.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to treatment plans and quality of care.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including evaluations, care plans, and treatment outcomes, utilizing our electronic health record systems.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing insights and collaborating on comprehensive care strategies tailored to each client.
• Carry out manual therapy techniques and supervise therapeutic exercises, ensuring proper implementation to facilitate recovery.
• Evaluate home environments when appropriate and advise modifications that enhance independence and safety for rehabilitation.
• Maintain a proactive approach to clinical documentation, compliance with regulatory standards, and timely communication with physicians and case managers.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development through active participation in training, case reviews, and learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will encounter at our facility primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current Physical Therapy license in good standing in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification, with a commitment to maintaining clinical competence.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
