Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will work within an outpatient office structure where you can connect with a diverse range of clients. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team allows for a vibrant exchange of ideas and therapeutic strategies, ensuring that you’re supported and engaged. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a balanced approach to work and life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for new clients, establishing tailored treatment plans that address specific emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and family systems therapy, ensuring approaches are customized to individual client needs.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, whether individual, couples, or group formats, to promote constructive communication and strengthen relationship dynamics.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and additional healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share insights, and monitor progress for optimal client outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in documenting client progress and therapy notes.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team supervision, and peer learning opportunities to advance your clinical expertise and foster a community of practice.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical situations, prioritizing client safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a wide demographic, ranging from individuals struggling with anxiety and depression to couples navigating relationship challenges. You will provide care for families working through conflicts or transitions, all while employing a trauma-informed care approach that acknowledges and respects the impact of trauma on mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Oregon is required.
\n
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
\n
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in providing therapy; new graduates with supervised clinical hours may also apply.

• Demonstrated proficiency in variety of therapeutic techniques including trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to delivering empathetic care and fostering trust with clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse clinical populations, including children, adolescents, and couples.

• Background in group therapy facilitation or family therapy practices.
\n
• Knowledge of local community resources and support systems is a plus.
