Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with school-aged children in a classroom or special education setting
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional techniques for varying needs and grade levels
• Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
• Organizational skills and dedication to maintaining thorough documentation and IEP compliance
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about student growth and engagement

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate individualized instruction for students on your assigned caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal law
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to foster inclusive learning opportunities
• Maintain effective communication with families and support networks
• Participate in school meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development sessions
• Use creative and evidence-based strategies to meet students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
