This role will primarily be performed in a remote setting, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules and work from any location with internet access. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ mental health needs to ensure appropriate treatment plans are developed and adapted over time.

• Engage in regular communication with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to provide updates on patient progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Develop and maintain a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and progress observations, ensuring alignment with patient needs and operational goals.

• Conduct home visits as needed, which involves performing in-home observations, conducting chart reviews, and analyzing data to evaluate service delivery.
\n
• Ensure that the implementation of the treatment program is tracked, documented, and adjusted to meet the evolving needs of clients.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to collaborative treatment planning sessions.
\n
• Complete comprehensive progress notes on a monthly and quarterly basis, helping to monitor client outcomes and service quality.
\n
• Organize training sessions to ensure that all team members are well-trained on program implementation and documentation requirements.
\n
• Conduct follow-up interviews and additional home visits when needed, providing ongoing support for client needs.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records that are readily accessible to supervisory and support staff.
\n
• Act as a liaison between clients and the wider mental health community, promoting developmental goals and resources.

• Assist in the development of training materials that improve program delivery and outcomes for clients.

In this role, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including both youth and adults. You will provide counseling services that address various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of the legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practices.
