Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work setting as it is largely remote, but you may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings or team collaborations at our outpatient office in Boston, Massachusetts. The daily work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, promoting a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying tailored care needs and devising appropriate treatment plans.

• Offer individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing emotional challenges relating to aging and transitional life stages, ensuring that each session is tailored to the specific needs of the clients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, which may include nurses, social workers, and physicians, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for the geriatric residents.

• Educate clients, their families, and staff on effective strategies to enhance emotional well-being and improve the overall quality of life for our elderly clients.

• Provide grief counseling and support to clients and their families navigating the complexities of end-of-life issues.

• Implement cognitive stimulation activities and mental health interventions to foster mental agility in elderly individuals, tailoring these programs to suit diverse cognitive capabilities.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
