Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Entryway Family & Psychiatric Services, your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the Medical Director and the medical team to create and coordinate individualized mental health treatment plans both within the facility and with external resources.

• Providing training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff on mental health issues and interventions as needed, ensuring a well-informed team.
\n
• Intervening effectively during mental health emergencies by employing de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies.
\n
• Representing the organization at commitment hearings when necessary, advocating for patient care and treatment alignment.
\n
• Developing patient-specific treatment plans that effectively address mental health needs and measurable goals.
\n
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions and treatment progress to maintain continuity of care.
\n
• Safeguarding the confidentiality of all medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Conducting thorough reviews of patient histories, ensuring any prescribed psychotropic medications are verified.
\n
• Preparing and submitting periodic reports on patient outcomes and program effectiveness.
\n
• Working closely with nursing and mental health teams to facilitate appropriate post-release referrals to ensure ongoing support.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for the Licensed Professional Counselor position, candidates must possess the following:

Compensation and Benefits\n
