Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, establishing rapport and nurturing positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to evaluate their progress, stability, and assess the need for discharge where appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and aspirations.
\n
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with best practices.

• Administer intake assessments to gather comprehensive information regarding each client’s mental health history and treatment goals.
\n
• Engage in weekly individual supervision sessions to discuss client cases, therapeutic approaches, and personal growth.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and facilitate a holistic approach to the clients’ mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position requires a focus on youth clients, addressing their unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other emotional disturbances. The clinician is expected to be sensitive to the developmental stages of youth and capable of adapting therapeutic approaches accordingly. You will work to create a safe and supportive environment where young clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and addressing their mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Proven ability to meet credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of experience in providing counseling services to psychiatric patients and/or individuals within substance abuse populations.

• Experience in conducting assessments, diagnosis, and both individual and group therapy.
