Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients through structured interviews and standardized measures.

• Regularly evaluate and track clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting intervention strategies based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver a well-rounded and cohesive treatment approach.

• Stay informed about recent developments and research findings in the field of mood disorders to continually refine treatment methods.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and refine treatment approaches in a multi-disciplinary environment.

• Act as a staunch advocate for clients, working toward reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting understanding of mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be a diverse array of clients dealing with various mood disorders, each presenting unique life experiences and treatment challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of three years of post-licensure experience, with a strong emphasis on treating mood disorders preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT practices.

• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to effectively communicate and collaborate with prescribing psychiatrists.

• Demonstrated success in delivering positive client outcomes through therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with clients in a supportive, non-judgmental manner.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a detox center or similar treatment facility is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
