As a mental health counselor at our center, you will operate in a fully remote, telehealth environment, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that you can effectively engage with clients from the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health through virtual meetings, employing both diagnostic interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, integrating individual therapeutic goals and utilizing appropriate modalities for each client.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, delivering both individual and group counseling, while equipping clients with coping strategies and tools for managing their conditions.

• Provide referrals and coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to support clients’ comprehensive health needs.

• Document client progress in adherence to confidentiality policies, ensuring compliance with professional and ethical standards.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to promote effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will possess experience and sensitivity in working with a diverse client population that includes individuals with varied backgrounds and mental health conditions. Our clients may face challenges such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and issues tied to substance use, among others. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated expertise in delivering therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
