Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth, while also collaborating with our local Tacoma office team. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients, creating an inviting atmosphere for open conversation and therapy.
• Conduct thorough assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and develop customized treatment plans that resonate with each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, regularly adjusting treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions when applicable, promoting shared experiences while addressing collective and individual concerns.
• Collaborate with external specialists and resources, referring clients as needed to enhance their treatment plans.
• Document and monitor client progress meticulously, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing relationship challenges, families undergoing transitions, and those grappling with various mental health disorders. Your expertise will assist clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction recovery. Your ability to engage effectively with clients from different backgrounds and circumstances will be critical in facilitating their healing journeys.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is necessary.
• Strong therapeutic skills with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with clients to encourage openness and healing.
• Excellent communication abilities that enhance collaboration with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
