Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacology

Corcept Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead the design and execution of clinical pharmacology strategies for small-molecule investigational compounds. This hybrid role based in Redwood City involves team leadership, regulatory strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to advance drug development from preclinical through approval.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacology development strategy for investigational small-molecule compounds
- Design and oversee clinical pharmacology studies and assessments in volunteer and patient populations
- Author pharmacokinetic content for regulatory submissions including INDs, NDAs, and MAAs
- Lead cross-functional project teams and provide scientific expertise on clinical pharmacology matters
- Manage direct reports and oversee external vendors and consultants supporting drug development
Requirements
- Advanced degree in pharmacy, pharmacology, or related scientific discipline
- Extensive experience in clinical pharmacology and pharmacokinetic strategy development
- Proficiency with data analysis software including Excel, GraphPad, and WinNonlin
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and IND/NDA submission processes
- Experience designing and overseeing clinical pharmacology studies in healthy volunteers and patients
- Leadership experience managing scientific teams and external vendors
