Three full-time contract positions are available, each dedicated to one middle school grade level, providing resource teacher support onsite during regular school hours.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Michigan Special Education Certification (any type)
• Previous experience or student teaching in special education roles preferred
• Passion for working with middle school-aged students in a resource setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and commitment to maintaining a productive, positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and support as a resource teacher for students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) according to Michigan guidelines
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to promote student success and inclusion
• Employ creative interventions and differentiated strategies to address academic and social-emotional growth
• Monitor progress, document student achievements, and communicate regularly with families and educational teams
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives on behalf of your students
