Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and regular follow-up sessions with clients to determine their mental health status and therapeutic needs.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments, therapeutic goals, and evidence-based practices.

• Provide ongoing support and counseling to clients in a variety of contexts, assisting them with coping strategies and problem-solving skills.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care and refer clients as needed.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, tracking client progress, and enhancing communication within the multidisciplinary team.

• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and substance abuse issues. You will leverage culturally responsive therapy practices to meet the unique needs of each client, recognizing the importance of addressing both mental health and socio-cultural factors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health settings.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapy methodologies, and a commitment to cultural competency in treatment.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy, with a focus on inclusivity and diversity.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention, allowing for effective support and guidance in high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
