This role is designed to be performed remotely, providing flexibility for our clinicians to balance their professional and personal lives effectively. Our community health clinic operates Monday through Saturday, enabling therapists to establish their schedules according to their needs and preferences. We manage in-house credentialing and assist with insurance participation and scheduling, fostering a smooth workflow that allows you to focus on what matters most—providing high-quality care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to accurately identify their needs and tailor interventions accordingly. This includes gathering detailed histories, understanding presenting issues, and evaluating mental health concerns.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress, regularly adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in clients' needs and goals.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through regular documentation and meetings, ensuring that assessment findings and treatment strategies are communicated effectively across care providers.

• Engage in case management practices, which involve consulting with other healthcare professionals and community resources to enhance the comprehensiveness of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Flexibility to work between 10 and 40 hours (sessions) per week, accommodating diverse client needs.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating proficiency in providing psychological care.
