This remote position allows you the flexibility to work from home while being part of a supportive team. Serene Mind Therapy is open Monday through Saturday, providing you with the ability to create a work schedule that suits your lifestyle while ensuring continuous access to care for our clients. In addition, we offer in-house credentialing and handle the management of insurance participation and client scheduling, allowing you to focus on providing therapeutic services without administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, couples, families, and groups to identify their needs and formulate appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Perform triage care through effective communication with fellow clinicians and health professionals, ensuring that every client receives tailored mental health support.
\n
• Document clinical findings and care plans in alignment with departmental standards, demonstrating ethics and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

• Facilitate treatment through evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ensuring that interventions address the specific challenges faced by clients.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care that encompasses various aspects of a patient's well-being including psychological, social, and educational needs.

• Provide case management services, fostering connections between clients and resources available within the hospital and community to enhance overall treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse group of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will be at the forefront of helping adolescents and adults navigate their mental health journeys, providing necessary counseling interventions and support.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW issued by the state of New Jersey is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A strong commitment to ethical and professional practice, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, which includes delivering therapy in an outpatient setting.

• Experience working with evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT, is highly desirable.
