Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to identify their mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Engage in initial assessments that evaluate the mental and emotional well-being of clients, providing a robust foundation for tailored treatment strategies.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including attending patient rounds, to ensure the cohesive delivery of treatment interventions and ongoing progress evaluation.

• Demonstrate expertise in providing competent care that addresses the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients of all ages.

• Oversee case management for assigned patients and facilitate referrals and resources through partnerships with hospital and community service providers.

• Ensure that documentation, including treatment notes and patient records, is completed accurately and timely, adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to empower patients and their families towards achieving their individualized treatment goals.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
