Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments through virtual consultations, ensuring that each client's needs are accurately identified and documented.

• Develop customized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances and goals of each client, including strategies for individualized and group therapy.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based interventions and fostering a safe space for open discussion.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and enhance recovery.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff to align treatment plans and strategies.

• Manage client referrals, ensuring seamless transitions to other mental health services or specializations when necessary.

• Work closely with family members and caregivers to provide education and strategies to effectively manage clients' behavioral health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will range from individuals facing mild challenges to those dealing with severe mental health disorders, providing a diverse set of cases that require thoughtful intervention. This role emphasizes a holistic approach to mental health, focusing not only on the individual but also incorporating family dynamics and community resources into the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as AVATAR.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of the various psychological theories and therapeutic techniques applicable to diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on individual and group therapy formats.

• Experience supporting clients with co-occurring disorders involving physical and emotional health conditions.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills complemented by a compassionate and empathetic disposition.

Compensation and Benefits\n
