Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients, identifying their unique mental health challenges and developing personalized treatment plans that prioritize mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR).

• Implement mindfulness techniques during individual therapy sessions, guiding clients through meditation, breathing exercises, and self-reflection to promote emotional balance.

• Facilitate group workshops on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies, creating an interactive environment for clients to learn and share experiences.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, interventions used, and necessary adjustments to treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including training in emerging mindfulness strategies, to enhance therapeutic approaches and improve client outcomes.

• Collaborate with other health professionals within our organization to create a multi-disciplinary approach that supports the holistic care of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and life transitions. By utilizing mindfulness-based interventions, you will help clients develop effective coping mechanisms, enhance self-awareness, and achieve their personal therapeutic goals. This role emphasizes resilience and supports clients in navigating life’s daily stressors through care tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create a calming atmosphere conducive to healing and personal development.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
