Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

• Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Observe and record patient progress, writing thorough progress notes that accurately reflect patient conditions and progress towards treatment goals.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, employing techniques to defuse challenging situations and manage patient behavior effectively.

• Advocate for patients’ needs, ensuring they receive adequate services and support during their treatment journey.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment strategies, and organizational initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions per department policies.

• Utilize telehealth technology effectively to conduct virtual sessions and manage caseloads efficiently with minimal administrative burden.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid, independent license to practice as a therapist in California, including LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical evaluations and recommendations based on the latest therapeutic models.

• Superior interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to patient care.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

• Strong time management skills, enabling efficient handling of multiple cases and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
