Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture trusting relationships with clients, creating a safe space for open dialogue and effective therapy.
• Perform thorough diagnostics to identify and assess mental health disorders, taking into account clients' backgrounds and circumstances.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the patients’ therapeutic goals and needs, ensuring regular review and modification as necessary.
• Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, applying evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to each client's situation.
• Regularly assess client progress through ongoing evaluations and feedback, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists for additional support or referrals when necessary, promoting a well-rounded approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at United Treatment Facility, you will work with a diverse range of clients encountering various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Qualifications

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
• Experience and specialized training in addiction counseling will greatly enhance your contributions.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and addressing co-occurring mental health disorders is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
