Work Environment\n

This role is exclusively remote, allowing you to provide quality care while enjoying the flexibility of a work-from-home setting. Operating within telehealth parameters, you will engage with clients through virtual consultations, making it possible to reach individuals across various locations while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that our therapists can enjoy evenings and weekends free for personal recharge.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and characteristics of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and interviews.

• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting realistic goals tailored to their unique situations and preferences.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), modifying approaches as required based on client progress.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, coping mechanisms, and self-care strategies to foster a supportive environment for recovery.

• Monitor client progress consistently, utilizing clinical notes and tracking tools—making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to enhance efficacy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client care, including medication management.

• Stay informed on current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment methodologies to further enhance clinical competencies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards to facilitate effective care and accountability.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development programs to keep abreast of best practices and cultivate interdisciplinary partnerships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities related to mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
