Global Business Development Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities:  

• Focus on supporting corporate requests and donations to appropriate contacts across apparel and footwear companies, as well as non-retail industries (insurance, finance, fitness, etc.), and opportunities for financial contributions, supporting global and U.S. efforts. 

• Engage with existing supporters and assist in their execution of shoe and financial drives for Soles4Souls' mission (i.e., providing advice, marketing assets, etc.). Additionally, Coordinator must be comfortable engaging with supporters from all areas and levels. 

• Motivate and retain assigned supporters to meet shoe and financial goals.

• Solicit new donors and enthusiastically introduce them to our mission. 

• Conduct prospect research for the International and U.S. Corporate Business Development team to elevate funding and product donation opportunities. 

• Administrative support for the International and U.S. Corporate Business Development team including meeting preparation and notes, developing impact reports, drafting presentations, collaborating with marketing to update necessary materials, etc. 

Other Key Responsibilities:  

• Utilize the CRM to log and maintain detailed records of business development activities. 

• Create and manage reports on corporate shoe drive wins, misses, and quarterly goals.

• Participate in team meetings to coordinate existing and upcoming campaigns/strategy.

• Actively participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with Corporate and International Business Development team 

• Distribute all incoming corporate lead shoe drive requests to the appropriate corporate business development team member for follow up. 

• Maintaining the agreements tracker 

• All other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: 

• Experience in customer-facing roles and/or managing multiple client relationships. 

• Passion for the Soles4Souls' mission, nurturing relationships, and meeting strategic financial goals. 

• Ability to remain flexible in an ever-changing nonprofit setting. 

• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication/presentation skills. 

• Confidence engaging with senior internal stakeholders and leadership, not just external supporters. 

• Ability to translate complex conversations and topics into clear, actionable follow-ups. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once; excellent time management and organizational skills are a priority. 

• Comfortable working across multiple, sometimes disconnected platforms and systems, with the initiative to flag gaps or manual workarounds. 

• Proactive thinking – anticipates needs rather than waiting to be asked. 

• Strong follow-through and reliability across multiple stakeholders. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience working with customer relationship management and workflow systems, preferably HubSpot, Wrike, and NetSuite 

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

• Flexible hours to accommodate international calls. 

• English required; French and/or Spanish a plus
